PREMIUM TRAINING FOR POINTING AND RETRIEVING HUNTING DOGS

Intensive training period for your hunting dog

This training is for you who want faster results or to solve a bigger challenge with your hunting dog, but lack the tools and time.

We take pointing dogs into our home for individual training from three (3) days up to a month, depending on need and goals. Often, even a week-long intensive period can lead to clear progress in basic skills and managing working drive.

The training focuses on managing hunting situations:
the dog learns to disengage from game, respond to calls even with high working drive, and maintain connection with the handler in game situations.

How does the dog live during training?

The dog lives with us indoors.

The trainers are Heini Lehto and Toni Corenius.

I generally keep the dogs in training in their own quiet spaces so that they can concentrate fully on their work. Introductions to other dogs are done only thoughtfully and according to the owner's wishes.

The goal is focused, individual training without unnecessary distractions.

Training includes

• Daily drive management exercises

• Recall from movement in different terrains

• Game distraction with homing pigeons

• Controlled disengagement and release

• Gunshot situation management

• Pointing situation control

• Extensive retrieving training as needed
• Individual written report

• Follow-up training plan for home

• Personal guidance for the owner on handover day

The training does not extinguish instinct – it builds a controlled and cooperative hunting dog.
